4/21/2020 Weekly lesson

Good morning Students & Families!

I hope you are ready for a MOTIVATIONAL weekly activity. This week, we are going to be discussing the book I Am Enough by Grace Byers (one of my favorite books)! “I am enough” seems like a simple statement, but how powerful is it to know that YOU ARE ENOUGH and that you don’t have to ever try to be anyone else other than you. That message has so much meaning. As we go throughout our day, we should always try to have positive thoughts about how we see ourselves, the world and others. How we feel is what we reflect. For today’s activity, after you watch the video I would like for you to complete this sentence. You can even add more to it if you would like: “I am enough because ….” I will give an example below, as well. Example: I am enough because I am confident in who I am. I search for the light / beauty in others and treat people the way I want to be treated. I am valued.

Book / Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKKRQOs1AJ4 Say this out loud: “I am enough. you are enough. we are enough!”

We will discuss this book during our weekly zoom.  I can’t wait to SEE YOU!!
